AWARD-WINNING departments with DIVERSE OPPORTUNITIES

Through Art, Design, Performing Arts and Music, pupils are encouraged to explore their ideas, develop confidence and discover their talents with the outstanding facilities and opportunities available to them at Ashville.
PERFORMING ARTS
Whether aspiring to a career in theatre or developing a lifelong passion for the arts, you will benefit from a rich curriculum led by specialist teachers and an exciting programme of clubs, performances and productions.
Recent productions have included Sister Act, Little Shop of Horrors and a new musical, 'Beth, created by our Director of Performing Arts, that was awarded the prestigious Derek Award for 'Best Young Cast' at the Edinburgh Fringe. Whether performing on stage or working behind the scenes in technical theatre, lighting or sound, every pupil can contribute to the success of a production.
Many Ashville pupils continue their artistic journeys at leading institutions, including drama schools and conservatoires.
MUSIC
Led by our Director of Music, pupils enjoy a rich musical education that develops performance, composition, listening skills and musical understanding.
Whether singing in one of our award-winning choirs, learning an instrument or performing in an orchestra, folk band or jazz ensemble pupils discover the joy of making music together.
Pupils can receive individual tuition from specialist visiting music teachers and participate in performances, competitions and festivals throughout the year alongside trips and international music tours.
