SENIOR SCHOOL SPORT

Our PE curriculum provision is designed to inspire every pupil to participate in and excel at competitive sport promoting both enjoyment and progression. Most pupils can play sport each day if they wish to through the curriculum and co-curricular opportunities.

Games lessons offer structured opportunities to develop skills across a range of core sports. Distinct from our games programme, PE lessons focus on individual development where pupils explore a diverse range of activities that promote personal fitness, skill acquisition, and lifelong participation in physical activity. From Year 9 onwards, pupils benefit from increased choice in their games curriculum, allowing them to tailor their experience to suit their interests and goals. Options include basketball, strength and conditioning, and fitness-focused activities ensuring that every pupil can find a pathway that motivates and challenges them.
