A SCHOOL WHERE YOU CAN BELONG
Becoming the best versions of ourselves.

Ashville is a caring, family school, where every pupil feels encouraged and valued; every pupil is seen and heard. After all, happy pupils are successful pupils.
BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN YOU
At Ashville Prep School, we know that children flourish when they feel happy, valued and connected. Positive friendships are at the heart of a child's wellbeing, confidence and ability to learn, which is why we place such importance on teaching the skills needed to build and sustain healthy relationships. Through our dedicated Friendship Curriculum, we nurture the confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence children need to thrive both in school and beyond.
From Reception to Prep 6, pupils take part in the 'UR Strong' programme, which provides children with a shared language for friendship and equips them with practical strategies to build positive relationships, resolve conflict respectfully, recognise the qualities of healthy friendships and develop the confidence to advocate for themselves and others.
Alongside this, pupils in Prep 4 to 6 participate in 'Girls on Board', a nationally recognised programme that empowers girls to navigate the natural ups and downs of friendships with empathy, independence and resilience. Pupils are encouraged to reflect, communicate effectively and develop the confidence to resolve friendship difficulties in a positive and respectful way.
Together, these programmes help our children develop the independence, emotional intelligence and life skills needed to build strong relationships, make thoughtful choices and become kind, compassionate individuals who contribute positively to our school community. By investing in these skills from an early age, we are preparing our children not only for success at school, but for life beyond Ashville.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING CENTRE
The Health and Wellbeing Centre at Ashville College is staffed by a team of three Registered Nurses, alongside other consultants and pastoral staff, who offer both physical and mental health support. The whole team work closely with the Learning Support Department.
A HEALTHY START IN LIFE
Reception and Prep 1 enjoy their lunch in the Pre-Prep Hall where the values of family dining and socialising is encouraged. Food is fresh, healthy and age-appropriate. Prep 2 to 6 have lunch in the main dining room where there are hot and cold choices including a salad bar, sourdough bread baked daily onsite and fresh fruit. Staff are available to ensure your child makes healthy food choices and our Allergy Champions are their to support children with specific dietary requirements.
OUR PUPILS LOVE THEIR SCHOOL
Prep School provides many exciting opportunities and, as the word claims, prepares your child for Senior School. However, there is also something special that will stay with your child forever. Our pupils love their school, the environment, the friendly community, the special events and these wonderful memories will stay with them for years to come.
THE ASHVILLE PREP COMMUNITY
Friendships blossom across the year groups with frequent whole school and House activities. Assemblies, singing practice and themed days bring together the whole school community and parents are encouraged to join us for many of the special events.
