Extra-Curricular Activities

The wide range of extra- curricular activities at Ashville is extensive. In addition to the music, drama and sports on offer, more information about which can be found on their individual pages, there are a raft of other societies and clubs. The list includes Archery, Climbing, Disc Golf, Creative Writing, Law Society, School Council, Art and DT, Rocket Club, Eco Club, Fairtrade Group, Christian Group, Deutscher Klub, Club Espanol and French Club and Duke of Edinburgh.

External Tours are also an important part of the Ashville education, and during their school lives, students have an opportunity to go on a number of trips outside of those offered by the Sports and Music Tours. Year Seven have a residential trip to the Lake District and Year Nine an outdoor activity trip to Nidderdale. Other tours and trips include the Spanish Language trip, German Exchange, French Study Tour to Nice, Art History and French Trip to Paris, Geography trip to Iceland and a Battlefields tour of France.
