Pastoral Care

High standards are expected and children are encouraged to achieve their maximum potential. But we never lose sight of the fact that their introduction to the school should be a positive one: it sets the stage for how they will feel about education for the rest of their lives. By recognising and appreciating personal strengths and weaknesses, the children are encouraged to view learning positively, as an exciting, challenging and, above all, enjoyable activity in which everyone experiences the warm glow of success.

By the time the boys and girls leave us they should be equipped with the knowledge, skills and awareness that enables them to progress to Junior School with confidence and enthusiasm.

Behaviour Policy

Our aim is to create a positive, well-ordered learning environment which values all children as individuals and where all success is celebrated.

Within such an environment children will make optimum progress. They will develop an appreciation, understanding and respect for the rights, needs and feelings of others. They will learn to respect and appreciate their environment and, above all, learn to manage their own behaviour.

After School Care

We have an after school care facility from 4.00pm to 6.00pm run by Kindercare.

Our Rules

We walk in school
We put up our hand when we want to speak
We listen to others
We keep toys at home
We take care of equipment
We work hard
We show good manners
We ask to go to the toilet

We have special rules for playtime

We
keep playtime safe and fun for everyone
We stand still on the first whistle
We line up quietly on the second whistle
We go into school looking smart

We have special rules for lunchtime

We stand quietly after grace
We use our knife and fork
We eat quietly
We try a little bit of everything on our plate
We stay in our place
