Under 14 Rugby Team Success
Ashville's Under 14 rugby team are hoping to start 2012 in the same winning way they ended 2011.
Out of the 12 matches played against schools from across the North the team have retained an impressive unbeaten run. They opened the season with a 29-10 victory at Pocklington, which was followed by demolishing both Ripon Grammar School and Harrogate Grammar School 69-0 in successive games.
Other teams similarly dispatched included Silcoates School (55-0), Hymers Hull (42-0) and Worksop College (57-0).
The Under 14's rugby team coach James Goldthorp said: "This is one of the most impressive young rugby teams I've coached. They are a superb squad and put 100 per cent into every game".
