Overseas pupils

Ashville welcomes pupils from all over the world. Our overseas pupils quickly integrate in to our day and boarding community, allowing them to live and study alongside students from Britain and abroad. This not only helps with developing spoken English but also in experiencing British culture which is an integral part of an overseas pupil’s education.

English as a Foreign Language

All overseas pupils whose first language is not English are tested as part of the selection process and, generally speaking, certain standards of English are expected before they can be accepted information to Ashville College.

On arrival, there are no hard and fast rules when allocating EFL lessons. Some pupils are already of a high standard and are directed to mainstream English lessons. Some require a little support and others will require more support.

Our EFL department are very flexible and will tailor the amount of help needed to each individual pupils needs.

Transportation

Overseas pupils are collected via minibus or taxi at either Manchester or Leeds Bradford Airport free of charge if arriving and leaving on agreed dates.

Please visit Admissions to find out to apply.
