Scholarships and Bursaries
Ashville College currently offers the following scholarships, bursaries and other allowances:
Discretionary Awards
Scholarships
These are awarded at the discretion of the Headmaster for excellence in academic performance or other disciplines, for example music. Scholarships are awarded to pupils for specific stages of their education at Ashville College, including to pupils in Year 7 – 9 who excel in art, music and drama and to Sixth Formers who perform well in their examinations and for their wider contribution to the school. A programme of activities including masterclasses, workshops, excursions and talks is run throughout the academic year for scholars.
Financial Assistance A bursary is a discretionary award provided by the College in circumstances where a child’s education would otherwise be interrupted through hardship resulting in the parents inability to pay full fees. These awards are mean tested.
Allowances
Sibling Allowance
For a family with three or more children at Ashville College, full tuition fees apply for the two youngest children but tuition fees for all other children are reduced by 10%.
Forces Boarding Allowance If a parent is serving in the British Armed Forces and their children are boarding at Ashville, the allowance is 20% of tuition and boarding fees for junior school pupils and 10% for senior pupils.
