Admissions
Overseas Students
Applicants whose native language is not English should be reasonably fluent in written and spoken English. They will need to provide evidence of their ability and maybe asked to take entrance tests in English and Mathematics. It can be arranged for the tests to be taken in their own country.
If students are taking GCSE or IGCSE examinations then we are able to offer places on the basis of a reference from their present school and their predicted grades, which should be at least five passes at grade C or above with seven passes at Grade B or above in the subjects they wish to study at A Level.
Where possible, we require each overseas applicant to be interviewed and we can usually arrange for both the tests and interview to take place in the student's home country. We work with a network of educational agents worldwide who can provide this service or we can arrange for the student to sit the tests in their own school or nearest British Council office.
Guardianships
All parents based overseas need a UK guardian for their child. The school is happy to pass on details of Guardian organisations we use to any parents if they so wish.
